Founder & Coach

I am former soccer player and current soccer coach. I have been a soccer coach for the last thirty years at the club, high school and college level. I am passionate about soccer for many reasons but especially for what this sport can provide for those needing a goal, and a way to achieve it. Let’s face it, isn’t that everyone?

Soccer has saved my own life!

In 2011 I became completely paralyzed.  I thought I’d never walk again. I had to learn how to breathe on my own, swallow, walk and start life over due to Guillain Barré Syndrome (GBS); a condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves.  I left the hospital in a wheelchair after 3 months, thinking I would spend the rest of my life in the same wheelchair.

While knowing, I would not be able to play soccer personally, yet having the strong desire to help others to do so, I focused on healing. Through the ups and downs of rehabilitation, my goal of coaching kept me on task. It took me about two years to improve about seventy five percent.  I finally felt strong enough to coach; I started coaching again at my old high school job.  Coaching young kids and young adults has kept me from going insane and focus on a future.  Now I am giving back.

That is why I started a non-profit soccer club for any player no matter their financial situation, their race or what culture they come from at no cost for them. I’d like to help them follow their dreams. With sponsorship, donations, and fundraising this can become realty.

Help us make dreams come true, DONATE today!

We are also looking for players to join us for our next season. Come join us!

Helping young soccer players to build:

● Character ● Team work ● Soccer Skills ● Friendships

Wisconsin United Soccer Club aka Waukesha United Soccer Club

It is our mission to provide an opportunity to all players regardless of background, age or level to become united in soccer, develop an understanding, respect and passion for the game and thereby better help them prepare as they move into adulthood in this ever changing and diverse society.  We firmly believe that our players’ learning experiences in the game will help guide them to become champions in life.

Wisconsin United Soccer Club is a Non-Profit Soccer Club.  Our club is geared towards individuals with financial under-privileged households who wish to have a future in soccer and play for a club. WUSC is a Non-Profit Organization as described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Donors can deduct contributions they make under IRC Section 170.

What sets WUSC apart from other clubs is simple, our emphasis is on making it possible for financially disadvantaged kids to be able to play soccer and maybe have a future in the sport. The goal of WUSC is to reduce the out-of-pocket contribution as much as possible for players to join our club.
